About Me

I am a writer, creative coach and applied improv facilitator. In all my work I utilize my expertise as a human-systems sustainability coach in the areas of: equity, environmental impact and communication. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University and will graduate with a MA in Sustainable Design from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in the fall of 2018. My two undergraduate degrees are in Drama/Speech and Journalism.

My journey in sustainability commenced when I was working as a retail worker at IKEA: Twin Cities. This workspace was very open about environmental impacts of the store and of the products through the entire supply chain. I then build upon this first exposure in my position as Production Manager at a children’s theatre dedicated in bringing important societal messages into the schools using the arts as a way to connect students with their impact on the environment.

Now, having completed my MA in Sustainable Design and working full-time as a creative consultant, human-systems sustainability coach. Some of the companies I’ve worked with are: The Theatre of Public Policy, The Brave New Workshop, FAWK MN, MN Education Equity Partnership Mille Lacs, Asian Media Access, The Loft Literary Center, Strike Theatre, Huge Improv Theater, Salzburg Global Institute, 2018 National Walking Summit and Spalding University.
